Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael Boggs, addressing lawmakers Wednesday, said the state judiciary is currently experiencing “a period of hard work and significant recovery” after three very difficult years.

Boggs delivered his inaugural State of the Judiciary Address at the podium of the state House of Representative chamber where he began his career as an elected official 23 years ago. He was joined by his fellow justices and the judges of the Court of Appeals as he addressed the legislature on the state of the judiciary system in Georgia.
