Gov. Brian Kemp has handpicked Atlanta attorney Brian Lake to become a Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit judge. Lake's appointment fills a vacancy on the DeKalb County Superior Court created by the retirement of Judge Mark Anthony Scott in February.
