Plaintiff co-counsel Robert “Bart” Turner of Savage, Turner, Pinckney, Savage & Sprouse and Jeremy McKenzie of Karsman McKenzie & Hart recently secured a $4.5 million medical-malpractice jury verdict out of Chatham County against a Savannah doctor who failed to tell a patient he implanted a spinal cord stimulator in the wrong place.

Turner joined the plaintiffs’ team in 2019 after McKenzie, formerly an associate at Savage & Turner, asked for his help on the case. Though McKenzie wasn’t available for comment due to scheduling, Turner said the two took on the trial responsibilities while co-counsels Carolyn Spellman of Savage & Turner and Dorian Britt of Karsman McKenzie & Hart provided ancillary backup.
