Two Alston & Bird partners are moving to Bradley Arant Boult Cummings’ growing office in Atlanta, citing their new firm’s greater emphasis on its construction practice and better access to an economic development team.

Deborah Cazan and John Spangler III, who spent decades at Alston, joined Bradley Arant in late May as the first construction practice group partners in the firm’s month-old Atlanta office. Alabama-based Bradley Arant launched in Atlanta on May 1, opening an office in Midtown and recruiting lawyers from several Georgia-based firms.  Many of the office’s 20 lawyers worked for decades with their former firms or served as leaders for them before joining Bradley.
