Two months after Maynard Cooper & Gale and Nexsen Pruet joined up in a merger, the combined firm has lured a veteran employment lawyer to lead a new Knoxville, Tennessee, office where it plans to use its mix of “high-level” service and “value proposition” to attract clients.

Maynard Nexsen recently opened its 23rd office nationwide in Knoxville, tapping longtime employment lawyer Tim McConnell from Bass, Berry & Sims to head the office and become a shareholder with the firm.
