Arnall Golden Gregory in Atlanta recently hosted two events to celebrate diversity. First, on June 8, the firm's LGBTQ+ Committee kicked off Pride Month with a celebratory Pride happy hour. It hosted Arnall attorneys and staff, LGBTQ+ members of legal community and allies in a joyful showing of pride. Second, on May 24, the firm's diversity, equity and inclusion committee took its 2023 summer associates on a bike tour highlighting Atlanta's journey for civil rights. The tour discussed the city's history-making African American leaders and how they laid the foundation for the modern-day Civil Rights Movement. They visited several Atlanta landmarks and sites, including Reynoldstown, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Sweet Auburn, Oakland Cemetery, the State Capitol and the site of the 1906 Race Riot, as well as murals and sculptures throughout the city. While at the Capitol, they also paid a visit to the statue of Ellis Arnall, a former Georgia governor and one of the firm's founders.
