Maynard Nexsen, a newly formed large law firm, is continuing to grow in multiple offices in the Southeast, recruiting 12 lateral lawyers, including nine partners, from rival firms such as Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough and Lanier Ford Shaver & Payne.

The Birmingham, Alabama-based law firm’s lawyer additions, announced Monday, include those in Huntsville, Alabama; Greenville, South Carolina; and its newest office in Knoxville, Tennessee.
