Georgia Court of Appeals Senior Appellate Judge Herbert Phipps took a step back from the bench to deal with health challenges on Aug. 7. The same day, the court announced it unanimously voted to name Hall County Senior Judge Andrew Fuller to temporarily assist during Phipps’ absence.

“It is an honor to serve on the Georgia Court of Appeals as a senior judge, and I look forward to providing whatever assistance I can,” Fuller said.
