Am Law 100 firm Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough is expanding its real estate investment trust (REIT) practice in Atlanta with a veteran lawyer from Morris, Manning & Martin.

Howard Hirsch, a lawyer with over two decades of experience with REITs, is moving from an of counsel position at Morris Manning to Nelson Mullins’ Atlanta office as a partner, the firm said Tuesday. He has worked both at a law firm and as in-house counsel for clients that comprise public and private companies, the firm said.
