Increases in judicial workloads have qualified nine of Georgia's 50 judicial circuits for the addition of one more judge.
But with allocation limited by budget constraints, chief judges with the Augusta, Alapaha, Clayton, Douglas, Houston, Northern, Stone Mountain, Tallapoosa and Tifton judicial circuits took turns advocating on behalf of their respective benches during a recent Judicial Council of Georgia general session meeting.
