Dollar Tree was slapped with a personal injury lawsuit on Sept. 18 in Georgia Southern District Court. The court action was brought pro se by a customer who alleges he contracted COVID-19 from rat traps in the store. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 4:23-cv-00266, Williams v. Dollar Tree, Inc.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
