The special grand jury that reviewed evidence of the 2020 presidential election interference case in Georgia linked to former president Donald Trump recommended the prosecution of seven lawyers who ultimately dodged charges in August.

The attorneys who avoided becoming part of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s case include Hall Booth Smith partner Brad Carver, former Foley & Lardner partner Cleta Mitchell and Trump ally Lin Wood.
