CybersecurityHoneywell International was slapped with a data breach class action on Sept. 19 in North Carolina Western District Court. The lawsuit, which accuses the defendant of failing to implement adequate data security measures, arises from a May 2023 breach impacting the personal identifiable information of approximately 118,379 individuals. The suit is backed by the Van Winkle Law Firm and Laukaitis Law. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:23-cv-00594, Curran v. Honeywell International, Inc.
