Belgium-based BeMatrix NV and its U.S. operating company were sued for patent infringement on Oct. 17 in Georgia Northern District Court. The court case, which asserts a single patent directed to assembly for a flexible room partition, was brought by Cantor Colburn LLP on behalf of Italy's Henoto S.p.A., a design firm which specializes in modular, temporary architecture. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:23-cv-04739, Henoto S.p.A. v. Bematrix NV.
