Atlanta-based Progress Residential, the nation’s largest owner of single-family rental homes in the country, recently named in-house veteran Ama Romaine as general counsel.

Romaine comes from the New York-based private equity giant Blackstone, where she served 18 months as general counsel for real estate asset management. Before that, she spent nearly four years as general counsel and chief compliance officer at G6 Hospitality, parent company for Motel 6.
