Joi Siler King and Meredith Riggs Guerrero of Drew Eckl & Farnham have stepped in to defend the City of College Park in a pending lawsuit over alleged employment discrimination. The action was filed Oct. 2 in Georgia Northern District Court by Legare, Attwood & Wolfe on behalf of a former police officer who contends that he was forced to resign after being subjected to disparate treatment based on gender and sexual orientation. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Steven D. Grimberg, is 1:23-cv-04477, Yisrael v. City of College Park.
