As 2023 draws toward a close, the Daily Report is updating on the status of Georgia jurists who landed in hot water with the Judicial Qualifications Commission of Georgia.

This year, five judges faced new or ongoing probes for their alleged commission of dozens of ethics violations. The Supreme Court of Georgia removed an intermediate appellate judge from the bench, while a pair of magistrate judges voluntarily stepped down to resolve their investigations.
