Christopher Anulewicz and co-counsel Dmitri Epstein of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings asked a Georgia Court of Appeals panel composed of Presiding Judge Stephen Dillard and Judges Trenton Brown and Andrew Fuller to retroactively annul a $1.7M arbitration award. The sum is at the center of a family feud Anulewicz argues his client had no part in but now has to pay because the arbitrator failed to properly apportion fault among the family members.

The appellees, represented by attorneys from Krevolin & Horst, with state senator Josh McLaurin delivering oral arguments, on the other hand, contend that the appellants purposefully and in bad faith invited error into the arbitration.
