The Georgia Insurer’s Insolvency Pool, a safety net for employees with workers’ compensation claims whose company’s insurers went insolvent, appealed two cases to the Georgia Court of Appeals on Tuesday.

At the heart of these disputes are disagreements on who was each claimant’s employer at the time of the accidents. Both were employed through temp agencies with an insurer that went insolvent, and both were doing work for companies with different insurers.
