A group of five Georgia lawyers is preparing to shift their legal mindsets from that of adversaries to impartial jurists after being appointed superior court judges by Gov. Brian Kemp.

Announced Thursday, the judicial appointees include prosecutors and private practice attorneys handpicked by the governor to fill vacancies on the Atlanta, Cherokee, Coweta, Dougherty and Macon judicial circuits.
