A Georgia physician in the headlines this year for submitting false diagnoses to Medicare is now suing a law firm for legal malpractice, claiming the firm botched a past medical malpractice case and settled it without his consent.

Dr. Charles Adams is alleging his former Atlanta lawyer missed a filing deadline in a medical malpractice case and the lawyer’s law firm agreed to settle the claim with an insurance company without consent.
