A federal judge in Georgia’s Northern District Court shot down Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta’s last chance to prevent a trial in a case challenging their alleged inducement of consumers filed by a competitor, which has been pending for over five years.

District Judge Steven Grimberg denied Guardian’s motion for interlocutory appeal in an order issued Jan. 9, confirming that the issue will be resolved at trial. On Sept. 30, 2023, the court denied cross-motions for summary judgment and ruled on six motions to seal, four to exclude expert testimony, three to exclude evidence, four for leave to file supplemental authority and one motion to strike.
