The first two suits were filed May 7 by plaintiffs, Omar Aviles and Juan Acevedo, an employee and a former employee of Asbury Automotive, respectively, claimed that more than 14,000 other people also had private and sensitive information accessed.

Auto retailer, Asbury Automotive Group, headquartered in Duluth, Georgia, was sued in five separate data breach class actions within three days this month by customers and employees whose personally identifiable information was allegedly compromised in a December cyberattack.
