The Supreme Court of Georgia is warning of a phone scam demanding money in its name.
According to an alert shared on the high court’s website, scammers are spoofing by “calling members of the public pretending to be representatives of the court.”
"Do not send any money or share personal information with unverified callers," read the warning issued by the Supreme Court of Georgia. "You will not receive a legitimate call from the Supreme Court of Georgia requesting any kind of transfer of funds."
