The bill proposing changes to the Delaware General Corporation Law isn’t flying through the House as easily as it did in the Senate, with the House Judiciary Committee voting June 18 to release S.B. 313 and bring it to the full lower house.

That vote came at the end of a two-hour hearing that included both testimony and public comment from those opposed to how the bill proposes handling concerns raised in February by the Court of Chancery decision in West Palm Beach Firefighters’ Pension Fund v. Moelis & Co.
