A jury in Georgia's Forsyth County awarded a $1.2 million verdict against Walmart, finding the store to be responsible for an employee causing a woman sustained injuries.

Plaintiff Tammy Callihan sued Walmart after she was struck by a shopping cart at a Jasper, Georgia store in 2020. Callihan suffered injuries to her neck and back and aggravated a prior disc herniation, resulting in her needing spinal surgery.
