About 40 of the largest 100 U.S. law firms in the 2024 NLJ 500 operate in Atlanta, drawn to availability of quality talent and such industries as the city’s burgeoning technology sector.
In addition to Georgia-founded international firms like King & Spalding and Alston & Bird—whose largest offices are in Atlanta—many of the nation’s largest firms by lawyer head count operate comparatively well-populated Atlanta offices in addition to their largest locations in other cities, according to ALM data.
