Many homegrown Atlanta Big Law firms saw their rankings slip for hiring and promotion of women in 2023 amid sluggish growth in percentages of female lawyers nationwide, as reflected in The American Lawyer’s annual Diversity Scorecard.
But a few other Southeast-rooted firms also rose in the rankings, including one listed among the top 15 firms in the U.S. for incorporating women into what traditionally has been a male-dominated profession.
