When I was a white-collar prosecutor, I became an expert in Georgia RICO law. People used to make fun of me because I would drone on about the RICO Act to anyone who would listen. But in August 2023, former President Donald Trump was indicted under the Georgia RICO Act, and suddenly Georgia RICO went from being an obscure statute to one of the most talked-about laws in the world. Due to conflicts, I am one of the few Georgia RICO experts who can talk to the media.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
