Attorneys with Beasley Allen are among the latest firms to launch a class-action lawsuit against BioLab and KIK Consumer Products in a Georgia federal court following a hazardous chemical fire that broke out less than two weeks ago.
Several suits have been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia after a fire broke out Sept. 29 at a BioLab plant in Conyers, Georgia. The blaze resulted in the release of hazardous chemicals, including chlorine, and prompted the evacuation of more than 17,000 residents, a countywide shelter-in-place order for others, among road and interstate closures.
