Political scientists, pollsters and pundits will spill a lot of ink on political autopsies of the 2024 presidential and congressional elections. But one raw fact remains, the country is still a 50/50 electorate. President-elect Trump won the popular vote by a mere two percentage points (and fewer popular votes than he received in 2020). The Senate is 53-47 in favor of the Republicans, who hold a razor-thin majority in the House. And this will change.
