In little more than a month, President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States. Incumbent President Joe Biden has promised a peaceful transfer of power. In the history of the country, there has been precisely one instance where a defeated incumbent president has attempted to thwart the will of the voters, ignore the Constitution and provoke a violent insurrection to prevent a peaceful transfer of power: in 2020 and the incumbent was Donald Trump. His bruised ego is stoked with burning-coal intensity.
