Veteran energy infrastructure lawyer Mark Tibberts cited Moore & Van Allen’s “elite” financial services team’s ability to charge lower rates than “Wall Street firms” in response to why he moved after a decade with Baker & McKenzie in New York.

Tibberts joined Moore & Van Allen’s financial services group in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a practice that focuses on the development, financing, sale and acquisition of energy and infrastructure projects, according to the firm.

He moved to Moore & Van Allen after a 35-year career that included a decade with Baker & McKenzie and a total of 25 years with Norton Rose Fulbright and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, according to his LinkedIn profile.
