- The Supreme Court of Georgia and Georgia Court of Appeals will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 21 due to inclement weather forecast for the Atlanta area.
- A growing number of county courts will also shut down operations Tuesday, according to judicial emergency orders from circuit chief judges.
- A comprehensive list of judicial emergencies can be accessed on the Judicial Council of Georgia Administrative Office of the Courts website.
With below freezing temperatures and snow flurries projected to impact portions of Georgia on Tuesday, court administrators announced Monday that the Supreme Court of Georgia and Georgia Court of Appeals will be closed Jan. 21.
The decision to shut down appellate operations is part of a overarching closure issued by Gov. Brian Kemp for state government facilities in the Atlanta area.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
