Attorneys for Georgia Power Co. and the two former political foes suing it found little to agree on Monday as the utility sought to have the case thrown out.

Former Gov. Roy Barnes and former Georgia House Speaker Glenn Richardson accused Georgia Power of illegally collecting sales tax on fees added to ratepayers’ bills to pre-pay the costs for new nuclear reactors planned at Plant Vogtle south of Augusta.
