Bills tackling revisions to open government laws, indigent defense funding and the juvenile code have all cleared a major hurdle in the Georgia General Assembly, but lawmakers now have just 10 more legislative days to get them to the governor’s desk.
Wednesday marked the General Assembly’s 30th day in session, the so-called crossover day, by which bills must receive a passing vote from their chamber of origin in order to remain alive.
