Last year was a comeback year for Troutman Sanders. The firm’s revenue increased 6 percent to $386 million after a 2 percent drop in 2010. That pushed net income up $15 million, or 12 percent, after only a $2.3 million increase in 2010.

Profit per equity partner rose from $705,000 to $735,000 last year, but that was a smaller bump than the 2010 increase in PPEP from $670,000 to $707,000 because Troutman increased its number of equity partners by 14.
