After several years cultivating a mediation and arbitration practice at King & Spalding, Ralph B. Levy retired at the end of 2011 and joined JAMS’s Atlanta office. The King & Spalding stalwart, who served as the firm’s managing partner for seven years in the 1990s, said it was not an easy decision to leave.
“It hit home when the furniture truck arrived,” he said. “My life was captured by 20 banker boxes of material.” The van rolled into his driveway last week, and he set up an office in his basement with his furniture from King & Spalding. Almost all of it fit, he said.
