A breach of contract battle between copier products companies that began three years ago with a Chinese conglomerate suing a family-owned Atlanta company for more than $4 million has concluded with the defendant winning $1.1 million for counterclaims in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

“That doesn’t happen very often in litigation-when you get sued and wind up with the plaintiffs owing the defendants money,” said the winning lawyer, Timothy S. Rigsbee of Bondurant Mixson & Elmore, who tried the case with Tiana Scogin Mykkeltvedt.
