David L. Balser and Lawrence A. Slovensky have left McKenna Long & Aldridge to become partners at King & Spalding.
Balser spent his entire career at McKenna until Friday, and he served as the firm’s general counsel for the last decade. He said he joined King & Spalding because of the firm’s “national and international reputation for handling high-stakes commercial litigation matters,” which offers potential to expand his practice. “It’s a very powerful franchise,” he said.
