The Wall Street Journal, which broke the news of the unconfirmed talks between News Corp. and Zweifach in late Decemeber, describes him as “veteran Washington attorney” who would be “filling what is likely to be a sensitive role as the media conglomerate deals with the fallout of the phone-hacking scandal that erupted this summer.”
