ATLANTA AP – Atlanta officials are warning the Georgia Supreme Court that the expansion of the world’s busiest airport could be jeopardized by an ongoing legal dispute involving a currency exchange company that lost out on a lucrative new contract.

A judge’s ruling that blocks Atlanta from entering into a contract with the currency exchange company Travelex could cost millions in lost revenue and delay the planned May opening of a new $1.4 billion international terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the city said in the court brief filed Monday.
