Labor and employment lawyer Erik S. Rodriguez has left a partnership at Seyfarth Shaw for one at Greenberg Traurig. Rodriguez, who practices in Atlanta, said Greenberg’s Florida offices were a draw because he has developed a clientele of Latin American and Hispanic companies.

Rodriguez, who spoke to the Daily Report from Greenberg’s Miami office where he was visiting, said that at Seyfarth he had to engage local counsel for Florida clients’ litigation because the firm doesn’t have a Florida office. Greenberg has the Miami office as well as locations in Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach County, Orlando, Tampa and Tallahassee.
