Gather ye round to hear the sad tale of poor Farmer Dale, his fortunate friend Farmer Jane and the rascal Robes DeBlack.
Farmer Dale was a hard-working Georgia agrarian who labored on the fourth-generation family farm that he owned, earning a good living from the land. His good friend Farmer Jane, also a fourth-generation family farm owner and equally successful, ran an identical farm on land adjacent to Farmer Dale. After listening to dozens of Legal Zip advertisements over the years, Farmer Dale decided it was time to incorporate his business to protect his family’s personal property that was not part of farm operations. He could not afford an attorney, however. So Farmer Dale personally handled setting up the company Farmer Dale, Inc., properly filing all the right paperwork. Farmer Jane, on the other hand, decided to keep running her business as a sole proprietorship.
