Attorneys for the survivors of three men who died after being hit by a chicken truck in Oglethorpe County settled a lawsuit for $8 million.

Johnnie Perlotte Jr. and two passengers-his son, Cordaro Perlotte, and Tony Chapman-were killed in a collision with a poultry company’s tractor-trailer truck. The lawsuit was filed by the widows of Perlotte and Chapman, Sonja Perlotte and Jennifer Chapman, and Jasmine Ware, the mother of the younger Perlotte’s son, Derrick Ware.
