Greenberg Traurig’s Ernest L. Greer is such a compelling litigator that he once persuaded his opposing counsel to leave a partnership at a top litigation boutique and join Greer’s firm.
As it happens, Greer lost the case he litigated against that lawyer, Mark G. Trigg, formerly of Meadows, Ichter & Trigg. Trigg’s client socked Greer’s for $850,000 in back rent and attorney fees. But Greer won the recruitment battle. His abilities as a business litigator swayed Trigg to join Greenberg’s Atlanta office. The two since have become friends.
