When the NCAA stripped Georgia Tech of its 2009 ACC championship win over Clemson on Thursday, it announced that it had done so, in part, because the university-through the actions of its former general counsel, among others-had “failed to protect the integrity of the NCAA
enforcement staff’s investigation” in violation of NCAA rules.
