King & Spalding increased both revenue and profit for the second year in a row, giving equity partners an average payout of $1.73 million-up almost 18 percent from $1.47 million in 2009.

In 2010, the firm’s revenue increased 6 percent to $718.2 million and net profit increased 22 percent to $265.7 million. That followed a 4 percent revenue increase and 15 percent net profit increase in 2009, a year when most Am Law 100 firms reported flat revenue and sagging profits.
