DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Robert J. Castellani will join Emory University Law School’s Center for the Study of Law and Religion on Jan. 1 after he retires from the bench. Castellani, who graduated from Emory’s law school in 1966, will research how religious and spiritual values influence criminal and civil law decisions. He also will teach legal ethics to second- and third-year law students. Castellani will continue to serve as a senior judge for DeKalb County and assist the county’s drug court, which he started in 2002.

James E. “Jay” Rollins Jr. has become a name partner with Debra E. Schwartz in their plaintiffs’ employment firm, prompting a name change from the Law Offices of Debra E. Schwartz to Schwartz Rollins.
