Gov. Nathan Deal has picked Eleanor L. Ross, an executive assistant district attorney for Fulton County, and Stacey K. Hydrick, an Atlanta civil defense lawyer, to fill two open seats on the DeKalb County State Court bench.

Ross and Hydrick emerged from a short list culled from more than 50 applications and 15 interviews by Deal’s Judicial Nominating Commission.
